Guide for the Presidents of the United States

The President of the United States is the sovereign leader of the United States of America. The holder of this office serves for a maximum of two four-year terms, and is elected by an Electoral College. The President is not only the nation's highest-ranked politician, but is also the commander in chief of the United States armed forces.
